Our shared journey toward FITAC-GE 2025—the Central Africa International Tourism, Arts and Culture Fair—is gaining strength and momentum.
Earlier today, I held an energizing virtual meeting with the organizers of this important event, which will take place in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, from 26 to 30 November 2025. Their vision is clear: to position Equatorial Guinea as a global stage for sustainable tourism, cultural diplomacy, and diaspora-driven development.
This dialogue follows an in-person exchange I had last month in Cairo, at the margins of the Afreximbank Focus Africa Trade and Investment Forum (FATIF), where I met with H.E. Juan Pedro Ava Nsolo Eyenga, Secretary of State for Trade of Equatorial Guinea. During our conversation, he formally invited ARDN to partner in making FITAC-GE 2025 a continental success.
Today’s follow-up meeting confirmed our alignment:
• FITAC-GE is woman-led, bold, and inclusive.
• It puts tourism and culture at the heart of sustainable development.
• It creates a unique space to elevate the African Diaspora as a vital force for transformation.
I reaffirmed ARDN’s strategic support for FITAC-GE 2025, bringing:
• A global network of 250 million people of African descent;
• Trusted partnerships with Diaspora institutions such as the National Business League, World Conference of Mayors, and others;
• Our Red Card Campaign to combat discrimination and violence in tourism and beyond;
• Our experience co-hosting major global convenings like the Africa Open for Business Summit at UNGA;
• Direct connections to the United Nations system and SDG ecosystem.
Malabo 2025 is not just a destination—it’s a declaration of Africa’s readiness to lead in shaping a more inclusive, creative, and connected future.
