Opening Night at La Stéréo Africa Festival 2025 in #Dakar:A Celebration of Rhythm, Culture, and Unity

This evening, I had the great pleasure of attending the opening night of La Stéréo Africa Festival 2025 at the Institut Français du Sénégal in Dakar, joined by the distinguished Ambassador of Colombia to Senegal, H.E. Claudia Mosquera Rosero.

From the very first note, it was evident that this festival is more than a musical celebration.
It is a vibrant space where cultures converge, creativity thrives, and the voices of Africa and the Diaspora rise in harmony.

Together, we witnessed performances that spanned jazz, afrobeat, soul, and reggae, each one a powerful reminder of music’s unique ability to bridge nations and ignite conversations.

My gratitude to the organizers, artists, and partners for curating such a meaningful beginning to this cultural journey.
