African Renaissance and Diaspora Network
President Macky Sall and the Government of Senegal are hosting today and tomorrow in Dakar the Second African Union Conference for the Promotion of Positive Masculinity for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and girls. The government invited Dr Djibril DIALLO President &CEO of ARDN to serve on the National Organizing Committee, in recognition of the work done by the African Renaissance and Diaspora Network (ARDN) as part of our Red Card campaign to end all forms of discrimination and violence against women and girls.
The goals of the positive masculinity conference are very much aligned with those of the red card campaign, including launching the circle of heads of state champions on violence against women and strengthening accountability practices in the working with men and boys as allies for gender equality and women’s empowerment.
