One of the objectives of the meeting is to explore a new narrative for the Sahel, taking advantage of the incredible opportunities of the region, while recognizing its challenges. We aim to identify strategies, technologies, policies and actions to promote inclusive green growth in the region.
Growth should simultaneously stabilize vulnerable ecosystems and create jobs and profitable income opportunities for communities too often trapped in poverty, conflict or migration. In this context, we will explore mechanisms for mobilizing resources for sustainable investments and creating dynamic value chains for the private sector.
